CMCF was founded in 1981 by Dr. Stefan and Mrs. Wanda Wilk, and provides fellowships to pediatricians from medically less-advanced nations to study the latest techniques and procedures practiced at top training universities and hospitals in the United States and Europe. Our mission is for this medical knowledge to transcend borders and reach a wide range of children suffering from sickness and disease. CMCF funds training visits for physicians through its innovative fellowship program, coordinates participation of physicians at pediatric symposiums around the world and provides specialty medical texts and journals – all with the goal of assuring that geography is not a boundary for medical knowledge. CMCF wants to improve the care of children, wherever they may be.
