Mr. Brewster joined the Children’s Medical Care Foundation’s mission in 1993 as an active volunteer.  In 1994, he was elected to the Board of Trustees and Officers. He became Vice President in 1995.  Mr. Brewster is a Senior Vice President at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, where he is a Financial Advisor for both individuals and businesses.  With his 30 years in the financial industry, his understanding of financial markets and investments has proven invaluable for CMCF. Mr. Brewster has pioneered ways for CMCF to not only raise additional money through new donors, but also to reach out to the Southern California business community at large

Beginning in 1994, he launched what became an annual fundraising event.  Initially it was fun filled and successful golf tournaments.  Then, beginning in 2002, a new annual tradition — CMCF’s Day at the Races.  This event has been held for several years at the Santa Anita Racetrack where CMCF supporters spend the day enjoying the races and contributing to the CMCF cause.   He has lent his support to all of CMCF’s other fundraising efforts throughout the years, and is always eager to consider new sources of funding and innovative ways to make them happen.

Mr. Brewster’s commitment to CMCF has been unwavering and we are fortunate that he continues to be so dedicated to our mission.
