CMCF supports Pediatric Respiratory Therapy in the following Ukrainian medical institutions:

  • Lviv City Children’s Clinical Hospital

HISTORICAL HIGHLIGHTS

  • In 2012 CMCF supported a collaborative effort between the Rehabilitation and Treatment Center in Wieliczka, Poland, and the Lviv City Children’s Clinical Hospital.  In this partnership, 15 physicians and other medical personnel came for a ten-day training in subterraneotherapy at the world famous Wieliczka Salt Mines in the treatment of chronic respiratory tract conditions.  The Children’s Clinical Hospital is now the only treatment center in Ukraine to treat children suffering from chronic lung disease through this method.
  •  2012 – New Grant supports “Respiratory Training in Wieliczka Salt Mines for teams of doctors, five at time to Poland’s Centers of Excellence for a two week period to learn how medical teams work together.
  • In 2012 CMCF supported a collaborative effort between the Rehabilitation and Treatment Center in Welichka, Poland, and the Lviv City Children’s Clinical Hospital.  In this partnership  15 physicians and medical personnel for ten day training in chronic respiratory tract conditions of subterraneotherapy in Welicka. The Children’s Clinical Hospital is now the only treatment center in Ukraine to treat children suffering from chronic lung disease through respiratory breathing method.
